Workshop
12:15pm – 1:00pm: US Patent and Trademark Office, Lower Level, Eccles Health Sciences Library
From 12:15-1:00pm, representatives from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will be holding a workshop to discuss Intellectual Property (IP), Patent and Trademark Searching and IP in life sciences & medical devices. You can also meet USPTO examiners and attorneys.

The University of Utah Marriott Library is one of 90+ U.S. Patent and Trademark Resource Centers (PTRCs) in the country, and one of two in the state of Utah. We celebrate our 40th anniversary of our PTRC designation this September. PTRC representatives are information experts trained on how to use search tools to access patent and trademark information.
