In April of this year, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced that the 2024 Public Access Policy that was set to go into effect at the end of 2025, will now be effective July 1, 2025.
The increase in access to NIH-funded publications can accelerate future research endeavors and collaboration, keeping the public informed about the newest advances.
