Friday, September 16, 2022, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
After years of exclusively virtual meetings, this upcoming event will be a hybrid Art Aloud! The in-person event will be held on the lower level of the Eccles Health Sciences Library. The virtual portion will be hosted via Zoom.
Writing is one way to cope with all that is happening in our world, in our country, and in our lives. Reading to a sympathetic audience is another. U of U healthcare professionals, students, faculty, patients, and family members are invited to read original writing. All forms of spoken art are welcome; we simply ask that they are five minutes or less in length (~ 750 words). You also are welcome as our listening audience.
To join, please register for our event and you will be sent the Zoom link and log in information. Go to: https://utah.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJEtdu-oqj8uGtKmuTkerZcgzz5B5IYPi5Wd
Art Aloud! is co-sponsored by the Center for Health Ethics, Arts, and Humanities (CHeEtAH); Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library; Utah Health Equity Diversity & Inclusion (UHEDI); HCI Wellness and Integrative Health Center; GME Wellness; and the Resiliency Center.
