The "Program Submittal Form" is for submitting proposals for presentation at the conference. Presentations may include pre-workshops (hands-on or tutorial proposals), demonstrations, auditorium presentations, breakout sessions, panel proposals, or posters.
Short Papers In an effort to better disseminate the materials presented at the Workshop/Meeting and in keeping with the European tradition, a volume of short papers will be given to attendees and made available to others not attending. This will be a SEPARATE PUBLICATION FROM THE PROGRAM ABSTRACTS that are submitted online. Contributions may include research papers, case studies, tutorials, courseware experiences, system descriptions, evaluations, review papers, and viewpoints. It is not required of those submitting proposals of preworkshops, panels, breakout sessions, demonstrations or platform presentations. However, we strongly encourage participants to submit a paper in the format outlined in detail in the Author Guidelines PDF file. In order to encourage participation, we have extended the deadline for submission of the paper to April 15, 2001, giving authors time to finalize their papers for this volume. The paper should be doublespaced, 4-10 pages in length, A4 or letter-size, and have an abstract or summary (75-200 words), introduction, methods, results, discussion, citations, and grant support acknowledgment. Some papers may not quite fit this format of research paper, but please try! Diagrams, figures, and charts can be included. We strongly encourage your participation in the publication of this volume. For specific questions about submission and format, please see instructions outlined in the Author Guidelines PDF file and/or contact Martina Dittler at sol2001@instruct.de.
