http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/SLCUP

The hotel is in the Research Park adjacent to the University.  It is approximately one mile from the meeting site. The walk is nice through the old Fort Douglas, subsequently the Olympic Village and now part of on-campus student housing. There is a free campus shuttle bus to all areas of the campus that circulates about every 15 minutes.  The hotel is NOT on the light rail transit system, TRAX, and not very well served by the city bus system.  Parking is free.  A limited complimentary shuttle service to and from University of Utah Campus and theTrax Station as well asTrolley Square (movies, restaurants and shopping) is provided. There is no parking on campus unless you are handicapped. Free internet, hair dryer, cable TV, coffree maker, refrigerator and iron are in each room. This is entirely a NON-SMOKING  hotel.

Our room rate for one or two people is $109.00 US dollars plus 12.5% tax. Room selection can be a single king beg or two queen beds.  Junior suites sleep 3 and are $139+ tax and are ideal for a family. They have a small refrigerator, sink and microwave.  This hotel does NOT include breakfast. There is a restaurant, lounge and Starbucks coffee kiosk. There is an exercise facility.  This is the only one of our suggested choices that has a swimming pool. This is the only accommodation that has a liquor license.  The Slice of Life Hospitality hospitality suite will be the presidential suite and terrace on the top floor of the hotel overlooking the valley and moutains.

You must make your reservation prior to May 24, 2007 to receive the discounted rate. Rooms held for this meeting will be released on this date. Any reservation requests received after May 24, 2007 will be accepted based on availability.
