Quick overview.
Salt Lake City is at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains, the most western part of the Rocky Mountains. The Salt Lake City has its own website. The valley at its north end has the Great Salt Lake. At the base of the mountains (5,000 feet) sits the University of Utah overlooking the valley and lake. It is a major airport hub with non-stop flights toall major cities. While our local transportation system can not compare with the Swiss efficiency of last year, however, the University is connected by Trax with downtown. If you want a bit of the old west you can't do better than the Lehi Rodeo June 29 and 30.
