VR brings Life to Health Care Thanks to the Spencer S. Eccles Family Endowment

A single proposal will be selected to receive up to $100,000 that will be used by graduate students in the Therapeutic Games and Apps Lab (The GApp Lab) to develop a prototype medical VR tool over the course of a year.

Contribute to Project Art Heals Utah

Project Art Heals Utah is a collaborative mosaic art project using empty COVID-19 vaccine vials, clean healthcare waste from University of Utah patient care areas, and physical and virtual mementos donated by those that have suffered loss due to COVID-19.

Upcoming LabArchives Webinars

The campus has had a site license for LabArchives for five years. Researchers in most colleges on campus have integrated LabArchives into their research programs. Also, cores and undergraduates with senior projects are using LabArchives. If you have not investigated Labarchives yet or want some additional information to improve your use of LabArchives we are offering a series of webinars.

Mary Youngkin1949 –2021. Mary Youngkin began her career at the Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library (EHSL) in 1975, and retired from EHSL in June 2011 after 36 years, serving as head of Reference and Public Services since the late 1980’s.
