Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine at the University of Utah Phase 2 Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship (LIC) End of Year Projects

Overview

During Phase 2 of their Medical School experience, all students are expected to complete a longitudinal project in an area of interest.  The topics are wide ranging and can include: quality improvement, medical education, patient education, and research.  These short presentations should encompass the motivation and goals of their work, a description of the planned methodology and results as well as a reflection of lessons learned during the project.  

The Phase 2 students are divided into 6 LIC themes:

  • Inquiry
  • Urban Underserved
  • Population Health
  • Value-Based Healthcare
  • Rural Healthcare
  • Pediatrics
