Rubor
Rubor magazine serves as a forum for people from all aspects of healthcare in Utah to share their stories and showcase their creative talents. Through fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and visual art, the publication will explore medicine by focusing not only on the promise of curing, but also on the art of healing.
Rubor projects:
Voices from the... are collections of 55-word stories written by medical students, residents, faculty and staff associated with the University of Utah School of Medicine and the University of Utah Health. These stories transcend specific writing genres, employing aspects of both poetry and prose to craft brief, poignant vignettes of experiences as those experienced by the individuals in their daily interaction. The purpose of the collections is to transmit emotional knowledge confronted by those working in the health profession.
The collections are divided into the following perspectives:
- Voices from the Wards, print only
- Voices from the Housestaff, web and print
- Voices from the Faculty, Family, and Friends print only
